PFB 2.0 Step 0: Preflop Bootcamp 2.0 Preparation
- New poker recruits to Preflop Bootcamp 2.0 are given access to their own personal dossier and intel videos to help onboard them into the PFB community and review the roadmap ahead.
- Orders are received with regard to joining the private poker discussion channels to meet other recruits and find accountability partners to work with on the missions ahead, if they so choose. Preflop Bootcamp 2.0 can also now be done fully independently for the lone wolves wishing to pursue their own path.
- Recruits are quickly tested by way of a compulsory quiz to test their understanding of the poker preflop glossary and positional labels before being allowed to progress into more hazardous study.
PFB 2.0 Step 1: 2-Bet Ranges
- After egos are check-raised at the door, all you maggots will complete the PFB Pretest for evaluation of your current poker crushing potential, to be used as comparison upon graduation.
- Your learning of RFI (Raise First In) Ranges will commence immediately to strip you of any bad poker habits you learned during your time as a poker civilian, complete with training of RFI ranges in the Preflop Trainer.
- Day 1 training ends with a quiz of RFI Ranges in Equilab, along with completion of the accountability checklist and daily reflective practice worksheet.
PFB 2.0 Step 2: SB & BB 3-Bet + Cold Calls
- Day 2 materials are learned and trained in the Anki Deck and Preflop Trainer extensively at this juncture. The course load for Day 2 consists of Small Blind and Big Blind 3-Bet and Cold Call Ranges.
- Similar to Day 1, Day 2 closes out with completion of the daily reflective practice sheet.
- As part of accountability tasks, poker soldiers may optionally band together to verbalize learned ranges and quiz themselves on these newly acquired ranges using Equilab.
PFB 2.0 Step 3: Non-SB / Non-BB 3-Bet Ranges
- After mastering the lethal arts of Small and Big Blind 3-Bet + Cold Call Ranges, Day 3 begins at dawn with HJ, CO, and BTN Ranges training in Preflop Trainer.
- Day 3 closes out with completion of the daily reflective practice sheet. The next day will focus on developing lethality in 3-Bet Response.
- As with Day 2, poker recruits may verbalize learned ranges and quiz themselves on these newly acquired skill ranges using Equilab.
PFB 2.0 Step 4: 3-Bet Response Ranges
- Day 4 preflop training focuses on counterattack strategy by way of training 3-Bet Response Ranges for the LJ, HJ, CO, BTN, and SB. At this point poker recruits experiencing shellshock may benefit from completion of the daily reflective practice worksheet.
- Group poker therapy sessions in the form of accountability tasks are optionally available for affected recruits. Included in these support options are the verbalization of 3-Bet Response Ranges with an accountability partner, in addition to quizzing of these ranges in Equilab.
PFB 2.0 Step 5: Review Day
- After casualties are treated and removed from the virtual poker training grounds, recruits who are physically able will be required to complete the first Review Day. There are no phone calls permitted to friends and family back home after day 5, and all care packages are subject to search and seizure of any “calling station contraband”.
- In keeping with your training regiment, analysis of the previous day’s combat maneuvers will commence in the form of the daily reflective practice worksheet.
- Physically and mentally coherent recruits with accountability partners may complete the Day 5 Review together to build morale and camaraderie. If you can make it past day 5, you might have a chance to make it out of Bootcamp alive.
PFB 2.0 Step 6: 4-Bet Response
- Day 6 preflop training introduces 4-Bet Response Ranges for the HJ, CO, BTN, SB, & BB in Preflop Trainer.
- Recruits will then be tested for combat fitness with Day 1 Review in the Anki Deck.
- The mental acuity and poker fortitude of all recruits will be severely tested at this midpoint. Before participating in this poker combat maneuver, all recruits must fill out their CPG Form-420 Living Will and inform senior officers of next of kin in the event they are KIA on the felt.
- Those poker recruits making it back to the virtual FOB (Forward Operating Base) can complete their daily reflective practice worksheet and complete any accountability tasks with fellow students.
PFB 2.0 Step 7: 5-Bet Response
- All recruits remaining alive will be subjected to immediate testing for radiation and dark matter exposure in the form of onboarding 5-Bet Response Training in Preflop Trainer.
- Poker recruits reaching this phase of Preflop Bootcamp are assumed to be of proficient defense competency. It is on day 7 that more lethal warfare methods are instilled in alpha recruits at undisclosed dark sites in the form of revisiting Day 2 materials in Anki Deck to refine lethal implementation of this curriculum.
- Completion of the daily reflective practice worksheet is mandatory before reporting to Day 8.
PFB 2.0 Step 8: Cold 4-Bet Ranges
- Recruits unable to control their new lethal poker powers by Day 8 will be remanded to the psych ward (The Greatness Village #water-cooler Slack channel) for quarantine and potential medical discharge.
- Proficiency evaluation again commences with Cold 4-Bet Ranges trained in Preflop Trainer.
- Poker recruits must demonstrate mental poker sanity before being admitted back on base in the form of cognitive recall and review of the Day 3 Anki Deck, in addition to completion of the daily reflective practice worksheet.
- The very last recruits not KIA or AWOL will enter Day 9 in the final push for graduation to the elite Preflop Unit and eventual deployment to global green felt conflicts to implement preflop poker supremacy in the ongoing chase for poker greatness.
PFB 2.0 Step 9: ISO Ranges
- By Day 9, it is expected all poker recruits reaching this phase of Bootcamp will have been conditioned to discard all feelings of poker remorse / compassion and any human tendencies of “hoping to outflop” villains in combat.
- Recruits are then subjected to ISO Range Training in the Anki Deck and Preflop Trainer.
- Recruits demonstrating competent breathing and minimum vitals are then required to undergo a Day 4 Review to confirm sanity.
- Non-deserting poker recruits are then granted a morale boost at the end of the day in the form of a calming reflective practice worksheet, which is mandatory before reporting to Day 10.
PFB 2.0 Step 10: Squeeze Ranges
- Remaining poker recruits are then subjected to simulated psychological warfare and isolation conditioning in the form of Day 10: Squeeze Range study inside the Anki Deck and Preflop Trainer. Continued accountability tasks are available from the poker community for those that need it.
- Recruits reaching this phase of Preflop Bootcamp 2.0 should now be fully dehumanized and dissociated from their former poker selves; only the challenge of the final review remains to be conquered.
PFB 2.0 Step 11: Full Review
- Recruits are now removed from the protection of the overall unit and the oversight of Commanding Officer Wilson, and forced to fend for their own under intense sensory deprivation and general unit abandonment. Communication with the overall unit and CO’s goes dark and recruits have only the poker intel gained in the previous 10 days with which to prepare for the Final Exam on Day 12. Poker recruits apprehended out in the field without adequate preparation will be disavowed and your affiliation with CPG will be denied by all global governing bodies of poker. Before participation in Review Day, recruits must have removed all personal effects from the barracks in the event they never return to the unit.
PFB 2.0 Step 12: The Final Exam
- Recruits capable of returning to virtual base on Day 12 have reached the poker summit of Preflop Bootcamp 2.0. It is at this juncture poker recruits will need to demonstrate Preflop Purity and pass the Final Exam. Due to the covert nature of PFB training and the prevalence of CPG crushers in the global theater of green felt combat, enemy factions have made numerous attempts to infiltrate PFB and its poker enlistees. This is why Preflop Purity demonstration is required for all recruits to graduate. Many enemy psychological operations by fringe anarchist poker groups have been targeted at PFB recruits over the years, such as perpetuating the poker propaganda that, “Any two can win,” and the more damaging disinformation campaign, “I’d rather be lucky than good.” Any poker recruit demonstrating susceptibility to these loser-think psyops will immediately fail the PFB Final Exam and face arrest with potential court martial. However, all poker recruits in good standing who fall short on the Final Exam are invited to attempt PFB again and again until passing. In PFB there is no soldier left behind.
